A FUN & UNIQUE FITNESS CHALLENGE

A couple of months ago, I came across a neat web site, it's call "Get Fit on Route 66". Obviously, it's an American site but it still caught my curiosity.

It's simple to use. You sign up and choose your type of vehicle that you would like to drive. That's it! Then at the end of each day, you simply log on and input how many minutes you were physically active that day. The vehicle then starts up and heads down the highway. Each minute of exercise equals one mile. At each stop, it gives you a brief description of the town or city that you ended up at that day. Your final destination is the west coast!

They provide tons of ideas for being active, different recipes and other fitness tidbits. If you are the type of person that needs a goal or destination to help motivate you, then this site is definitely for you. You can do this by yourself or as a group. Challenge your friends, make it a family challenge to see who can reach the Pacific ocean the quickest. Hope you enjoy this! I did.

Check it out at aarp.getfitonroute66.com and take a cruise across America.
